Album Notes & Community Reviews

Continuing to refine their unusual chamber-jazz instrumentation, the group seamlessly integrates the cello into a lithe, harmonically advanced framework. The drummer's famously subtle, melodic approach to percussion drives an intellectual yet deeply swinging set that straddles the boundary between cool jazz restraint and nascent post-bop exploration.
