Album Notes & Community Reviews

Created by Ross Bagdasarian to capitalize on the massive transatlantic wave of Beatlemania, this playful novelty record reimagines early Lennon-McCartney compositions. Utilizing his signature tape-speed manipulation techniques, Bagdasarian translates the driving Merseybeat sound into high-pitched, highly commercial entertainment aimed directly at a younger demographic.
