Album Notes & Community Reviews

Compiled primarily from late 50s and early 60s singles written by the legendary duo of Leiber and Stoller, 'Coast Along With The Coasters' highlights the group's unparalleled knack for R&B novelty and storytelling. The album perfectly balances highly rhythmic, saxophone-driven grooves with intricate vocal interplay and theatrical humor. It captures the twilight of the doo-wop era just before the onset of the British Invasion.
