Album Notes & Community Reviews
Originating from the Washington D.C. folk scene rather than the rural South, the progressive bluegrass ensemble brings a distinctly urban sophistication to traditional mountain music. Their tight, driving instrumental work and polished vocal harmonies played a pivotal role in introducing bluegrass to collegiate audiences during the American folk revival.
