Recorded primarily in Andalusia, Spain, this second full-length from the Siouxsie and the Banshees side-project is a brilliantly eclectic exploration of world rhythms and avant-garde pop. Siouxsie Sioux and Budgie heavily utilize marimbas, steel drums, and complex Latin percussion, stepping entirely away from their gothic rock origins. The resulting album is a vibrant, surreal masterpiece of dark exotica and cabaret stylings.
