Album Notes & Community Reviews

Formed as an experimental offshoot by Siouxsie Sioux and drummer Budgie, this exotic debut album entirely stripped away traditional rock instrumentation in favor of voice, marimba, and lush orchestral percussion. 'Feast' was recorded in Hawaii, heavily absorbing the indigenous polyrhythms and tropical atmospherics of the island to create a deeply hypnotic, primal soundscape. The highly percussive, ritualistic project demonstrated a vast, theatrical expansion of the post-punk palette.
