Album Notes & Community Reviews
On their ninth studio album, 'Selling a Vibe', The Cribs collaborated with producer Patrick Wimberly to create a more streamlined sound that incorporates a pop sheen and synthesizers into their established garage and indie rock framework. The songwriting focuses on powerful, soaring melodies and confessional lyrics that explore themes of brotherhood and artistic longevity. The album was met with positive critical reception and became a commercial milestone for the band, debuting at their highest-ever position on the UK Albums Chart.
