Album Notes & Community Reviews

Capping off a highly successful decade of crossover jazz fusion, the veteran Texas ensemble scored their biggest international hit with this album's title track. Featuring an unforgettable, star-making vocal performance by Randy Crawford, the record effortlessly glides between slick, disco-infused pop and immaculate instrumental soul-jazz grooves. It defined the sophisticated, urbane sound of late-70s smooth jazz and R&B.
