Album Notes & Community Reviews

Achieving massive breakthrough success with the tongue-in-cheek single 'Not If You Were the Last Junkie on Earth', the Portland quartet's major-label debut is drenched in retro-cool arrogance. The album perfectly distills 1960s psychedelic pop hooks and Velvet Underground-style drone into a heavily synthesized, highly infectious brand of 90s alternative rock.
