Album Notes & Community Reviews

Progressive rock visionaries The Dear Hunter release 'Sunya', continuing the ambitious sonic universe they introduced on 2022's 'Antimai'. The album leans heavily into synth textures and intricate, tightly wound grooves, drawing as much from jazz and funk as from progressive rock. Lyrically, 'Sunya' shifts to a more personal perspective, following a single character confronting a dystopian physical and spiritual wasteland. It's an expansive and rhythmically driven continuation of their complex, world-building narrative.
