Album Notes & Community Reviews

The second volume in The Decemberists' 'Live Home Library' series collects 14 tracks from the band's three-night stand at Brooklyn Steel in April 2017, when the venue had been open only a few weeks and the band played 62 songs across the run. The double LP, mixed by longtime collaborator Tucker Martine, includes 'The Crane Wife 3', 'Red Right Ankle', 'Down By the Water' and 'The Tain'. Colin Meloy writes in the liner notes that the shows capture the band at its very best with this lineup.
