Album Notes & Community Reviews
Ironically titled, 'Hate' masks its deeply pessimistic and misanthropic lyricism beneath sweeping, lushly orchestrated chamber pop. The Delgados contrast highly melodic, bittersweet indie rock with overwhelmingly depressive themes, resulting in a dark but incredibly beautiful sonic juxtaposition.
