Album Notes & Community Reviews

Travis Morrison's Washington D.C. quartet debuted with a highly energetic, deeply anxious fusion of post-hardcore dissonance and unusually danceable rhythms. The chaotic, remarkably tight arrangements feature angular guitar work and frantic drumming that heavily anticipate the impending dance-punk revival. Its unpolished, manic energy laid the critical groundwork for their legendary, highly sophisticated later records.
