Album Notes & Community Reviews

Neil Hannon returns with a remarkably lush, orchestral pop record that heavily references classic literature and cinematic history. The songwriting balances his trademark aristocratic wit and theatrical storytelling with moments of genuine, tender romanticism. The sophisticated, string-laden arrangements were largely recorded live in a single room, capturing a vibrant, classic pop energy.
