Album Notes & Community Reviews

Continuing the massive commercial momentum of their late 1970s rebirth, The Doobie Brothers fully committed to Michael McDonald's smooth, R&B-infused vision on 'One Step Closer'. The album delivers impeccably produced yacht rock standards characterized by lush harmonies and sophisticated electric piano arrangements. It marks the final studio release of their most commercially dominant era before their initial disbandment.
