Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Dream Syndicate heavily polished their abrasive, Velvet Underground-inspired feedback into a dark, highly produced, and expansive neo-psychedelic rock record. Steve Wynn's deeply pessimistic, cynical narratives are backed by sprawling, fiercely melodic guitar jams that evoke a raw, cinematic, and decidedly American wasteland. 'Medicine Show' is a highly ambitious, slightly polarizing cornerstone of the Paisley Underground movement.
