Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded in an isolated cabin in the Alpine Valleys of Victoria, the fourth album by the Australian rock outfit is a ferocious, literate exploration of punk blues. Gareth Liddiard's incredibly dense, snarling lyricism tackles historical trauma and personal despair, backed by violently unpredictable, dynamic guitar work. It cemented their reputation as one of the most vital, critically revered rock bands in modern Australian music.
