Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating as a duo following the departure of two founding members, Jonny Pierce and Jacob Graham deliver their darkest, most emotionally fraught record to date. 'Encyclopedia' abandons the breezy surf-pop of their early work, leaning heavily into brooding synthesizer arrangements, sparse post-punk basslines, and fiercely pessimistic, anti-religious lyricism. The album is a profoundly lonely, deeply sentimental, and surprisingly rebellious evolution.
