Album Notes & Community Reviews
Led by renowned saxophonist Mats Gustafsson, the avant-garde ensemble The End constructs a volatile mix of jazz, noise, and progressive rock. 'Why Do You Mourn' leans heavily on brutal improvisation and Sofia Jernberg's wildly unconventional vocal acrobatics. The album shifts violently from tender, mysterious avant-folk to screeching, discordant free jazz chaos.
