Album Notes & Community Reviews

Preceding their later 1965 shift toward contemporary pop, 'Rock'n Soul' captures The Everly Brothers attempting to reignite their commercial fire by looking backward to classic rock and roll and R&B structures. The duo applies their unparalleled, familial vocal blend to energetic covers of Chuck Berry and Little Richard. While largely ignored upon release, it remains a charming, high-spirited vocal rock showcase.
