Album Notes & Community Reviews

Eschewing the electric rockabilly sound that made them teen idols, the siblings crafted an austere, acoustic tribute to the traditional Appalachian folk songs of their youth. The stark arrangements and flawless close harmonies laid a direct aesthetic foundation for the folk revival movements of the coming decade.
