Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Mudbird Shivers' showcases the Dutch anarchist collective The Ex further expanding their rhythmic vocabulary, integrating complex, off-kilter grooves with their trademark jagged guitar attacks. The inclusion of free-jazz elements and non-traditional song structures highlights the band's relentless forward momentum away from standard punk constraints. It remains a testament to their enduring commitment to political commentary inextricably intertwined with radical musical experimentation.
