Album Notes & Community Reviews

Translating roughly to 'awful noise,' this release by the fiercely independent Dutch collective pushes their anarcho-punk roots into denser, highly rhythmic experimental territory. 'Pokkeherrie' utilizes clattering, angular guitar dissonance and relentless, mechanical percussion to convey their strident political and anti-capitalist messages. The album highlights the group's ongoing evolution from traditional punk into a highly idiosyncratic force in the European underground.
