Album Notes & Community Reviews

Standing as a stark anomaly within the acoustic-driven Saddle Creek Records roster, the Omaha quintet helped pioneer the 2000s dance-punk explosion. 'Danse Macabre' merges the dark, aggressive energy of post-hardcore with abrasive, 1980s-style analog synthesizers and four-on-the-floor club beats, resulting in a dark, hyper-kinetic party record.
