Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Bend Sinister' captures The Fall at their most dark and brooding, featuring dense, rumbling basslines and heavily prominent, atmospheric keyboard work from Brix Smith. Mark E. Smith's cryptic, sneering vocal delivery paints deeply anxious, nocturnal vignettes of urban decay and political paranoia. It is a remarkably raw, repetitive, and fiercely uncompromising art-punk highlight of their vast discography.
