Album Notes & Community Reviews
Introducing the crucial guitar-and-bass partnership of Craig Scanlon and Steve Hanley, The Fall's second album significantly darkened and hardened their intensely repetitive sound. 'Dragnet' is a remarkably lo-fi, deeply mysterious, and cryptically satirical post-punk oddity steeped in chilling, paranormal anxieties and Mark E. Smith's brilliantly acerbic storytelling.
