Subtitled 'After the Gramme', The Fall's third studio album is a brilliantly abrasive, unapologetically challenging milestone of Northern English post-punk. Driven by Marc Riley's rockabilly-tinged guitar riffs and incredibly repetitive rhythms, Mark E. Smith delivers highly manic, deeply sarcastic, and wonderfully cryptic punk poetry detailing grim working-class life.
