Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded during a period of infamous, highly volatile lineup instability, the legendary post-punk group's nineteenth album unexpectedly dove headfirst into 1990s dance culture. Mark E. Smith's slurred, repetitive vocals are violently thrown against frantic jungle breakbeats and jarring electronic programming, resulting in an exceptionally chaotic, divisive late-career effort.
