Recorded in an incredibly raw, almost entirely improvised rush, The Fall's fifth studio album is a fragmented, brilliantly chaotic document of Mark E. Smith's acerbic vision. 'Room to Live' relies on heavily dissonant, repetitive art-punk grooves that underscore Smith鈥檚 deeply misanthropic, highly cryptic, and wonderfully sarcastic punk poetry.
