Album Notes & Community Reviews
Written and recorded during a tumultuous period of lineup changes, Mark E. Smith's iconic post-punk outfit leaned into a lighter, more melodic sound. The album briefly touches upon contemporary Madchester grooves while retaining Smith's trademark cryptic, observational lyricism.
