Album Notes & Community Reviews
Constructed following a period of infamous lineup instability and on-stage altercations, Mark E. Smith recruited a largely new backing band to realize this ambitious, tripartite album. The resulting recordings prominently feature driving rockabilly rhythms colliding with jarring electronic programming, signaling a revitalized, aggressively eclectic era for the post-punk veterans.
