I'm Going Away

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Steering away from the jarring time-signature changes and progressive suites of their previous albums, the Friedberger siblings opt for a surprisingly straightforward, 1970s AM radio-inspired sound. Eleanor's distinct vocal delivery fronts concise, melodic tracks flavored with warm piano and classic rock guitar riffs. The project showcases their eccentric songwriting distilled into its most accessible and breezy format.
