Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded primarily in New York with producer Richard Gottehrer, 'Hexbreaker!' channels the frantic, sweat-drenched energy of the band's legendary live performances into a refined studio setting. The group's self-described 'Super Rock' sound fuses 1960s garage revivalism with vibrant R&B rhythms and sharp, fuzz-drenched guitars. The relentlessly upbeat, danceable record remains a crucial document of the American underground roots-rock scene.
