Banks of Eden

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Ending a lengthy five-year recording hiatus, the veteran Swedish ensemble returned to their symphonic progressive roots with a renewed, organic energy. Deliberately seeking a warmer sound, the core of the album was tracked live in the studio using vintage recording equipment. The release centers around a massive 25-minute epic that reaffirms Roine Stolt's mastery of grandiose, melodically uplifting compositions.
