Album Notes & Community Reviews

Moving away from the bright optimism of their previous work, Roine Stolt and his Swedish progressive rock ensemble adopted a noticeably darker, more cynical conceptual focus. The album critiques modern greed and environmental degradation through intricately arranged, heavily symphonic suites that highlight their trademark instrumental virtuosity.
