Constructed as a non-linear chapter book of loose narratives compiled without an overarching sonic constraint, 'Bootleg' represents the eighth full-length installment from twins Fletcher and Wyatt Shears. The tracking deploys hyper-kinetic drum-and-bass structures overlaid with abrasive synth-punk vocals, exemplified on the highway-themed single '5 Mile Ponytail'. The project emphasizes a completely independent, DIY approach to avant-garde punk formats.
