Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking the final studio appearance of vocalist Anneke van Giersbergen with the group, the record moves further away from their metal origins into atmospheric, trip-hop-influenced alternative rock. The production emphasizes deep, rhythmic grooves and lush electronic textures over traditional heavy guitar work. It serves as a melancholic and highly respected swan song for the band's most iconic lineup.
