Album Notes & Community Reviews
Continuing their signature blend of sample-heavy, relentlessly upbeat indie pop, the British collective delivers another tightly constructed barrage of joyful noise. 'Get Up Sequences Part One' heavily features bright flute melodies, old-school hip-hop vocal cadences, and vibrant marching band percussion. The album is a testament to bandleader Ian Parton's unique, cut-and-paste approach to overwhelmingly optimistic pop music.
