Ian Parton's long-running indie-pop collective returns with another deliriously upbeat, sample-heavy explosion of highly colorful musical aesthetics. The record heavily incorporates the Detroit Youth Choir and various marching band elements, blending vintage soul loops with relentlessly sunny, cheerleader-style vocal chants. It remains a remarkably vibrant, completely un-cynical party record demonstrating the band's unique, maximalist pop formula.
