Album Notes & Community Reviews

Attempting to recapture their massive mainstream momentum, the Canadian rock institution delivered a highly diverse, conceptually loose collection marked by satirical album packaging. Led by Burton Cummings' powerhouse vocals, the record effortlessly shifts between lush, piano-driven pop-rock ballads and heavier, blues-inflected rockers. Despite strong critical reception and excellent musical interplay, the album struggled to match the commercial heights of their previous efforts.
