Album Notes & Community Reviews

Driven by the husband-and-wife duo of Brett and Rennie Sparks, 'In the Air' continues their exploration of murder ballads and macabre storytelling rooted in traditional roots music. Brett's distinctive baritone vocals are paired with Rennie's darkly poetic lyricism. The instrumentation relies on sparse, traditional folk arrangements that highlight the narrative depth of the compositions.
