The Herbaliser's Jake Wherry and Ollie Teeba reassembled their trip hop productions as live band arrangements for 'Session One', performed by the touring Herbaliser Band and first issued across two ten-inch records. Drawn from the duo's first three albums for Ninja Tune, the material trades sampling for brass, keyboards and rhythm section interplay, recasting downtempo as instrumental jazz-funk.
