Album Notes & Community Reviews

An early LP from the band pairs Johnny Handle's accordion and Alistair Anderson's concertina with Colin Ross's fiddle and Northumbrian pipes in the group's smallpipes revival repertory. The Ranters had formed five years earlier at Newcastle's Bridge Folk Club, taking their name from the High Level Bridge and the Cheviot Ranters.
