Album Notes & Community Reviews

Sean O'Hagan's meticulously arranged ensemble takes a distinct left turn on 'Cold and Bouncy', integrating glitchy electronic textures and retro-futuristic synthesizers into their signature orchestral pop sound. The fusion of analog warmth and early digital programming creates a whimsical, space-age lounge atmosphere heavily indebted to Brian Wilson and Burt Bacharach.
