Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recording for the first time without keyboardist Franz Nicolay, the Brooklyn-based narrative rockers leaned more heavily into polished, guitar-driven heartland rock. Craig Finn's characteristically dense, literary storytelling focuses heavily on themes of aging, the struggles of touring, and finding salvation through rock and roll.
