Album Notes & Community Reviews

Expanding their bar-rock sound with prominent horn sections and elaborate synthesizer arrangements, the Brooklyn-based collective delivers a dense, highly narrative-driven rock record. Craig Finn's unmistakable talk-singing weaves intricate tales of desperate characters navigating modern technology, addiction, and late-capitalist anxiety. The album showcases a mature, expansive evolution of their classic heartland indie-rock formula.
