Album Notes & Community Reviews

Celebrating their 20th anniversary as a band, the Brooklyn-based rock outfit continues to refine their signature blend of bar-band energy and intricate storytelling. 'The Price of Progress' features massive, brass-augmented heartland rock arrangements that serve as the backdrop for Craig Finn's detailed, character-driven narratives concerning the struggles of working-class America. It is a triumphant, highly cohesive entry from the veteran indie rockers.
