Album Notes & Community Reviews

Fusing heavy blues riffs with frantic rhythmic energy, this Los Angeles quartet anticipated the impending hard rock explosion. 'The Hook Will Grab You' relies on driving basslines, screaming vocals, and fuzz-drenched guitar heroics to craft an aggressive strain of psychedelia. Their raw, muscular approach positioned them firmly against the grain of the lighter, harmony-driven pop acts dominating the California coast.
