Album Notes & Community Reviews

Led by its socially conscious, acoustic-driven title track, this album brilliantly balances the group's fierce funk-rock instincts with exquisitely arranged smooth soul ballads. The production emphasizes sophisticated vocal harmonies and the blistering lead guitar work of Ernie Isley, cementing the family band's massive mid-70s commercial dominance. It remains a definitive statement of progressive soul optimism and romantic sensuality.
