Album Notes & Community Reviews

'It's Our Thing' was the Isley Brothers' first album after leaving Motown and reactivating their own T-Neck label. The hit 'It's Your Thing' announced their independence with a harder, funk-oriented sound. The album marks the beginning of the group's self-directed commercial and stylistic expansion.
